Films in competition
The jury of nearly 50 members will make a pre-selection of feature films that have been released in the current year. The selection is narrowed down to about 30 films that will compete in the main categories (such as best film, actor, actress, screenplay, photography, music).
These films will be screened during the year in the building of the Foreign Press Club in the center of Rome, followed by a meeting with the director or /and other members of the film production. Since the 2018-2019 season, jurors also have the option to watch the movie by streaming.
